2. Countersink. The countersink has more cutter teeth, and the hole end is processed into the required shape by the forming method, which is used to process the countersunk hole of various countersunk screws, or to cut the outer face of the flat hole.
3. Center drill. The center drill is used for drilling the center hole of the shaft workpiece. It is essentially composed of a twist drill with a small helix angle and a countersink drill, so it is also called a composite center drill.
4. Twist drill. It is mainly composed of a working part and a handle. The working part has two spiral grooves, shaped like a twist. In order to reduce the friction between the guiding part and the hole wall during drilling, the diameter of the twist drill gradually decreases from the drill tip to the shank, showing an inverted cone shape.

The structure of the flat drill has two kinds of integral and assembly. The integral type is mainly used for drilling micro holes with a diameter of 0.03~0.5mm. The assembled flat drill insert can be replaced and internal cooling can be adopted. It is mainly used for drilling large holes with a diameter of 25~500mm.
6. Deep hole drilling. It usually refers to a tool that processes holes with a ratio of hole depth to hole diameter greater than 6. Commonly used gun drill, BTA deep hole drill, jet drill, DF deep hole drill and so on. The nesting drill is also commonly used for deep hole processing.
