In 2023, 17 enterprises will produce more than 50 million tons of raw coal.

According to preliminary statistics from the Statistics and Information Department of the China Coal Industry Association, in 2023, there will be 17 enterprise groups with a raw coal output of more than 50 million tons. The combined raw coal production of the 17 companies was about 2.79 billion tons, an increase of about 0.07 billion tons or 2.6 percent over 2022.
According to preliminary statistics from the Statistics and Information Department of the China Coal Industry Association, in 2023, there will be 17 enterprise groups with a raw coal output of more than 50 million tons. The combined raw coal production of the 17 companies was about 2.79 billion tons, an increase of about 0.07 billion tons or 2.6 percent over 2022.
In 2023, there were 8 enterprises with raw coal production exceeding 100 million tons, an increase of 1 over the previous year; they are: National Energy Group, Jinneng Holding Group, Shandong Energy Group, China Coal Energy Group, Shaanxi Coal Group, Shanxi Coking Coal Group, Huaneng Group, Lu'an Chemical Group. The total raw coal production of the eight enterprises is about 2.23 billion tons, an increase of about 0.07 billion tons or about 3% over 2022.
In 2023, there will be 9 enterprises with raw coal production ranging from 50 million tons to 0.1 billion tons, namely: State Power Investment Group, Huaihe Energy Group, Xinjiang Tianchi Energy Company, Henan Energy Group, Yitai Group, Jizhong Energy Group, Huadian Group, Huineng Coal Power Group and Liaoning Energy Group. The total raw coal output of the nine enterprises was about 0.56 billion tons, basically the same as last year.
